The world is flooded with video games, and there’s only so much time to play them! What shall we ever do?!?!
One of the reasons (the only reason) I hate Netflix is that there are too many options. I’ll fire up Netflix and spend twenty minutes browsing through all the movies and TV shows trying to decide what to watch. There have been times when I gave up and turned the TV off before choosing. Honestly I don’t think I have ever had this problem with video games, but maybe you do? Are you asking what video game should I buy?
You’ve come to the right place. Here is our answer for September 2017.
XBox One – Overwatch
The Game of the Year Edition of Overwatch has been released, and if you haven’t jumped on the Overwatch bandwagon the time to get on is now. The game dropped down to $29.99 and is worth every penny. Blizzard has created an insanely fun first person shooter that will keep you entertained for hours (literally we have 300+ hours of playtime). It’s perfect for when you only have 30 minutes to kill, but can keep you engaged for longing gaming stints. Great for the competitive and chill gamer.

Playstation 4 – Destiny 2
Destiny 2 took everything that Destiny 1 wanted to be and made it a reality. Bungie has taken this game franchise to the next level, and it’s a beaut. Don’t believe us? Check out any review ever. People are eating this game up, and rightfully so. It’s beautiful to look at, the story works this time, the gameplay is fun, and you feel accomplished as you grind for gear and leveling. No doubt this is the hottest game for the Playstation 4 this month. It’s a bit pricey for a single game, but it’s the price you must pay to play a top AAA game at release.

Computer Gaming – Slime Rancher
We’re late to the game on this one, but we want to make sure you know about it. Slime Rancher has captured our attention and hearts. It’s a single player half-exploration, half-farming sim game. As you explore an island you’ll progress the story all the while capturing and raising up the Slime creatures. I (Lemonsmith) am especially a big fan. You can watch my fun video on the nicknames I’ve given the Slimes here. If you’re undecided, download the free Slime Rancher demo first. You’ll get a feel for the game before you buy it. This game won’t let you down.
